BUILSA: SADA MVP supports schools with furniture The SADA Millennium Village Project (MVP) has supplied at least two primary schools in the Uwasi electoral area in the Builsa district with some 155 pieces of dual desk to facilitate the conduct of teaching and learning in classrooms.
BUILSA: Water shortages soon to be addressed Communities in the Builsa District will soon be relieved of the problem of accessing potable water, when the Japanese Embassy finally approves of the funding of the Chuchuliga Water Project in the area.
The Builsa district is one of the thirteen (13) districts of the Upper East Region of Ghana. It is bounded on the North and East by the Kassena-Nankana District; on the west by the Sissala District and on the South by the West Mamprusi District and part of Kassena-Nankana District.
With a total land area of 2,220 square kilometres, the district accounts for over a quarter of the total land area of the Upper East Region thereby making it the largest district in the Region.
The district capital is Sandema
Builsa District is well known for its great history and past record but yet not fully explored and certainly not exploited.
The district abounds in an unbelievable array of excitingly striking features and attractions.
