BUILSA N: Azantilow II worried over falling standard of Education The Falling standard of education in the Upper East Region over the past five years has been of a major concern to many stakeholders, who often express their concerns at the least opportunity. The latest to add his voice is the Paramount Chief of the Sandema Traditional Area, Nab-Azagsuk Azantilow II.
Bulisa North District is one of the Thirteen (13) Districts and Municipals in the Region. The District is located in the north-eastern section of the Upper East Region Samdema is the District Administrative capital.
It is bordered to the north by the Kessena nankana west district, to the east by the Sssala East District, to the west By Kessena Nankana East District and to the south by Builsa South District.
Significantly, two tributaries of the Volta River namely the White Volta and the Red Volta run contiguous to the districts eastern and western boundaries respectively. There is a strong relationship between the geology and the relief of the district
Builsa District is well known for its great history and past record but yet not fully explored and certainly not exploited.
The district abounds in an unbelievable array of excitingly striking features and attractions.
